For Sale 1970 Plymouth Fury III. 318 engine and 904 transmission. Only 55,000 Original miles. Car runs and drives great. The motor runs strong and transmission shifts smooth. Car has Factory A/C with its original charge of R-12 and runs cold. Everything on the car is functional - radio, lights, wipers, and all electronics. Car has power steering, manual drum brakes and manual windows. Carburetor was rebuilt, has new fuel filters and fuel tank was drained and cleaned out. New Spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. New air cleaner, brakes, brake lines, ball joints, and bushings. New motor Mounts, drive belts, and shocks. Engine oil and filter, trans filter and fluid changed, rear end fluid changed.

 

Car has been in storage for the last 20 years. The original owner was in the process of restoring the car and passed away, then his wife sold the car to a person that stored it in a garage with a car cover. The car was repainted the original color about 20 years ago.  It has a few scratches and some small dings.  There is some rust on the bottom rocker panel and trunk.  I treated all rust spots with a rust inhibitor and repainted the truck.  Also, I undercoated the wheel wells and undercarriage.  Frame is solid, no rust on any of the frame sections under the car.  Floor board are in great condition.

The interior is in good shape for a 45 year old car.  Dash board has no cracks, the color is not faded. Rear seat is in good condition, front seat has 2 small tears on each side.  Door panels are solid and the rear passenger door panel has a small tear. All of the interior can be repaired very easy with some TLC.

What you have here is a great survivor car, a true testament to how well these old cars are built.  The power and comfort of this car make it a very fun drive.  This is a great daily driver that you can enjoy or take to car shows.
