VINTAGE SHELLFISH THEME HANKIE 13" Cotton PINK LOBSTERS CRAYFISH CRABS FLORALS

Most of the hankies I list are from the 1950's;  some are earlier and others later.  Different themes, fabrics, prints, hand-embroidered and printed!  Most of the hankies are hand-washed except for the silk! 

Being vintage some of them have fold marks or handling marks and I mention their condition!

  Could be fabulous for a bride, members of a wedding party or you as a collector of fine vintage hankies!  

WHAT IS LAWN FABRIC?
Lawn cloth or "lawn" is a plain weave textile, originally of linen but now chiefly cotton.
Lawn is designed using fine, high count yarns, which results in a silky, untextured feel.
Many of the hankies I list are Lawn and can be said to be fine Linen or fine Cotton!   They have a sheer look and not to be confused with Irish Linen or soft cotton!

DESCRIPTION

STYLE:  Vintage 1950's PRINTED Hankie/Hanky with a SHELLFISH THEME!

FABRIC:  Fine Cotton!

COLOR & PATTERN:   The border on this hankie has an eggplant background with some interesting florals in pale yellow and pink, also a mint green or seafoam green!  The round center design has images of pink lobsters and crayfish with some yellow crabs, looks like!  These colors match the border to some degree!

CONDITION:   Looks to have been unused ....Excellent pre-owned vintage condition!

SIZE:  Approximately 13 inches square!

										Paypal is our preferred method of payment! We hope to receive payment within five days and would appreciate hearing from you if you will be late making payment!

    Shipping

    	
								Shipping is from Vancouver, Canada, and is mailed within 24 hours of receipt of payment unless we're away in which case that would be noted in our listing! Always encourage combining items to save you postage and packaging for us! Oftentimes three items cost the same to send as one!

    Terms

    								All auction items are due within seven days; Buy It Now are immediate payment unless you are combining some items and then I'll send you an adjusted invoice to reflect the savings in postage! When I do an auction and Buy It Now choice, on some items, like scarves category, the B.I.N. remains and is still open for purchase UNTIL half the B.I.N. price is reached! When the half is reached, the B.I.N. disappears and then is strictly auction until the end of the listing!


    Due to allergies we have, we live in a smoke-free home environment! I always leave feedback after an item is won and paid for, as that deserves a positive feedback for sure!!

    Returns

    								Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded; however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us.  Returns can be made within 14 days of receipt of the items.  Please bear in mind that vintage items and pre-owned items can have flaws and blemishes and I endeavour to describe their condition in each listing.  I also include many photos so you can easily zoom on the item and make a bid if you're satisfied!
