1x White "Sparta 2" Inline Espag Window Handle from Trojan This stylish high quality Inline "Sparta 2" handle from Trojan is developed for window espagnolette and shoot bolt locking mechanisms. The handle is die cast Zinc powder coated and the plastic parts include UV stabalised ABS. Part of the Sparta 2 suite of door furniture. The Sparta 2 Espag handle is manufactured to an ergonomic design featuring a soft grip and a tight radius under the lever. This extends the effective length of the grip, giving optimal comfort and feel during use. A metal spindle in the espag handle is fixed to the lever, runs through the handle backplate and fits into a lock mechanism within the sash. Turning the lever rotates the spindle and triggers the mechanism, which in turn locks or unlocks the window. Features & Benefits
What's included: 1x inline handle, 1x key, 1x screw hole cover plate, 1 key cover plate (converts the handle to non-locking) and 2x screws. Choosing a window handle Espag handles follow a common standard and are therefore interchangeable. So, choosing a different handle design from your existing shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure that the spindle length is the same. Another consideration is distance between backplate screws - on this handle it's 43mm from centre to centre. This handle features a non-locking keyhole cover to convert the handle into a non-locking version. This is a great idea where you want all the handles to match but want to ensure a fire exit route is never locked etc. To establish what size spindle length you need - take off the existing handle and measure from the end of the spindle to the base of the handle.
