I am selling this Glass-Eyed South Bend Surf-Oreno No 963 F (Imitation Frog) in the original box with the original instruction/explanation sheet copyrighted 1948. It is in excellent conition with just a few small age cracks. I found out that it is called an Imitation Frog from the enclosed sheet that has a code for all the different South Bend bait patterns.

#963 is 3 3/4 " , Weight 1oz. Three No.1/0 Ex. strong treble hooks. The insert says the this bait is "a favorite in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada for muskies, and Great Northerns, and for Tarpon, and big bass and other species in the waters of the south. Waterproof metal tube with roll-welted ends extend through entire bait body and houses wires for tail hook, spinners, and line attachment."

This is a real beauty! If you have any questions, please contact me.
