Aloe X ‘Lime Fizz’ (Griffin Hybrid) This lovely new Aloe hybrid from Kelly Griffin is a nice compact plant that will certainly pique the interest of all who inspect it! The plant is covered with three-dimensional, multi-colored raised ridge-like protuberances completely encompassing both sides of the leaves. Furthermore, the leaf margins are edged in translucent saw-like teeth that emit a golden-orangeish glow, especially when seen backlit by the sun or any other light source. The overall color of the plant changes through the seasons like a chameleon, with lime green, white, gold and pink tones commonly represented in varying degrees. This plant, in overall form, looks very much like a sister to Aloe X ‘Orange Marmelade’ as well as Aloe X ‘Pearl Necklace’. These three hybrids are very attractive when seen grouped together with their very similar form yet differing colorations. They truly look like something from an alternate universe! This plant has been sold by others under the name 'Franco'. Kelly Griffin's name for this plant is 'Lime Fizz', and we recognize it as this cultivar's official name.
The picture is representative of the actual plant for sale. The plant is approximately 3-4” across the top of the leaves, is well established and will be shipped bare root. Shipping of plants is done on Mondays following receipt of payment. Shipping will be combined for multiple items purchased on the same invoice. For each additional item, shipping will be $2.00 unless exceptionally heavy or large, which will be noted. If a heat pack is required, there will be an additional charge of $2.00 for each 72 hour heat pack. Please request an invoice prior to payment.
