We are selling our Italian made Lepton-e Oxygen Electric Scooter/Moped. I purchased this for my wife about 5-years ago. She used it for commuting back and forth to work a few miles several days a week. The scooter runs like new and has never had a mechanical problem- ever! It has about 1300 miles on it and has had the upgraded 50ah batteries and trickle charger ($600) installed about 3 years ago giving it incredible speed and distance. We are selling because we now have a child and my wife quit her job and is unable to ride it now. It has always been babied, stored inside, and not ridden in inclement weather. We have the original manuals, both ignition keys, and both security system key fobs. It has a throttle limiter established at 28mph by law and can go about 45 miles on a charge with the upgraded battery system. These mopeds listed for about $3000 new. I just want to let you know that I am getting the range you said I'd get with the Ni-Zn batteries in my Lepton electric motorbike. I've taken a 27 mile ride (last weekend) and still had charge to spare when I got home. Today I took a 25 mile ride to a park where I went rollerblading, and again made it home with charge to spare. The last 3 miles of both of these long rides was straight up a rather steep mountain road. After these rides, the Lepton Oxygen is charged back up and ready to go again in only 2.5 hours or so. Amazing! I'm doing these long rides in economy mode, and am limiting my top speed to 18 - 20 mph on the flat. The Lepton truly is a quality product!
