This auction is for FreelandBuck's Installation Slipstream, currently showing at the Bridge Gallery in Manhattan. Alluding to Lebbeus Woods' 2010 'Slipstreaming' drawings of flow, the installation a is a single drawing extruded through the gallery space and cut away to produce a set of interconnected spaces. It will be taken down on Monday August 27th. We have no place to store or re-erect the project. If you do, it could be yours. Slipstream measures 9'-10"x 20'-10"x8'-3"tall and weighs approximately 250lb. This does not include the small spiral portion in the rear (see drawing) which will be exhibited again in November and is not part of this auction. There are two ways to do this - we can ship the disassembled pieces to you at your expense (whatever it costs us to ship it - we estimate $1200 with UPS ground) or you can pick it up on the 27th disassembled or in large pieces to minimize reassembly. Also included is a rhino model showing how all 1400 pieces fit together to help the buyer reassemble.
