Triumph / Harley Road race project

Bought this bike a few years ago and been working on it on and off last few years

This bike is a one off custom build, I wanted something different from the normal Norton Harley theme.

Bike started off as a Hinkley 900, the frame was modified to except a Harley Sportster rubber mounted engine. I think you will agree it looks fantastic so far.

Frame has been nickle plated, swinging arm is Sportster, nickle plated.

Engine looks in very good condition no broken fins ect, it has been converted to chain drive, but I have the belt pulley.

Carb and air filter are custon butterfly operated items from a vacume on the inlet manifold,

The engine is fitted in the frame and retains all the rubber mounts and anti vibration steadies. the bottom engine plates are dural Alloy for strength

Tank is a work of art and is a copy of an MV Auguster from the 70's, seat is custom made for the bike to match in blue.

Oil tank and battery carrier are custon chrome Harley items look very nice with extra oil capacity than standard tanks.

Forks are race 38mm very strong and nice yolks to match, the Bars are Verlicchi 1" items swtiches are Harley

Front wheel is alloy, front guard is glass fibre race item

Front brake is Spondon race item

Rear shocks are custom made

rear wheel is 17" alloy and takes a 140 tyre.

rear brake is Bembro

Exhaust are custom made and heat wrapped,

The rolling chassis is all complete

chain alignment is done,

reasets are a mix of stainless and alloy and are custom made, as is the gear linkage and rear brake master cylinder setup.

With the bike comes the complete loom including the switch controls for the bars, fuse box, regulator, ignition switch and key, all the plug in connectors for the engine.

As a bonus there is a screaming eagle ignition system fitted with coils.

The whole bike is put together well and looks a million dollars

It has been sitting at the back of my garage for to long, someone needs to finish it, not a great deal to do really, and most of the money has been spent. no stand fitted

There is a V5 in my name for the triumph 900, the numbers on the Harley engine have been added to the V5 so it all marries up.

To answer a couple of questions,

 the forks are adjustable and in nice condition,

 the motor spins over fine off a battery connected straight on it

The paint is nice on the tank

there is no more fitting required on the engine, all the oil pipes are connected

all the brakes are connected, but need bleeding

the loom should fit straight on the bike, there are connections on the loom for lights and a hooter, I have light brackets for the forks

The listing will run to the end for all the people who have not yet bid, I will only end ithe auction if the bids do not reflect the work that has gone into the bike.
