This is my 1958 Frogeye Sprite.
Possibly one of the earliest still in existence with a four (4) digit chassis number beginning with one (1)
The body is in excellent condition with new inner and outer sill and “ A” post covers and repairs.
The spring hangers are both in good condition and the usual early build features still as good.
The front and rear suspension and steering has all been cleaned and serviced with new bushes and bolts.
The breaking system is all in boxes as with the other parts (some serviced some not.)
There is a 948cc engine and smooth case gearbox (not tested)
Unfortunately only a fibre glass bonnet, but there is a 9 (nine) stud windscreen
I have powder coated the body just for protection.
The door gaps are good but are just loose fitted and do require some filling after sandblasting
I have the old buff log book with some details to obtain a replacement V5
This should be a reasonably easy finishing project with all the hard work already out of the way as I have said this is a very Early Frogeye "June 58" First Registration
