An unusual wooden, eight-sided fire screen (perhaps dating from the 1930s or 1940s) with a superimposed wooden overlay of a lady in a crinoline which is signed Mary Cruickshank in the bottom left hand corner of the dress (as you look at the screen).
As noted in the earlier stated 'condition' because of its age and previous 'life' the screen is not in perfect order but by no means looks shabby.
