This unit duplicates the functions of the original Teac RC-401 wired remotes.

In my other auctions I sell similar wireless remote adapters for Aiwa, Akai, Ampex, Denon, Nakamichi, Otari, Revox, Sony, Studer, Tandberg, Tascam, Teac and Technics decks.
Add wireless remote capability to your Teac A-4000, A-4010 A-4010L A-4010S A-4010SL tape deck with the 8-pin tube socket connector on the back. Installation is easy. Remove the dummy plug and plug in the remote adapter and them plug the AC adapter into the back of the remote adapter.
This unit can be programmed, via a set of internal jumpers, to 1 of 4 remote codes (Sony VHS, Sony Beta, Sony 8mm and Sony Laser Disc Player). This allows multiple units to be independantly controlled in the same room.

- Small size. Only 2.6" x 2.6" x 1.1"
- Receive/Power LED is lit when the unit is getting power and it blinks off when a valid IR command is received
- Four unique device code settings allow four tape decks to operate in the same room without interaction (requires setting internal jumpers)
- Works with all universal remote (just set it for Sony 8mm, beta or VHS, VCR or Sony Laser Disc player)
