General Lee LEE1's ORIGINAL front Valance is for sale now!

 

 General Lee No. 1 was built by Warner Brothers for the hit series The Dukes Of Hazzard and was transported to Covington, GA where it jumped Rosco's police car

in episode No. 1, One Armed Bandits, on Saturday, November 11th, 1978 in front of Seney Hall at Oxford College, Georgia.

This jump is seen in the opening credits of every episode from The Dukes Of Hazzard.

 

After LEE1 was jumped it was badly damaged. The car was then repainted Bluish/Green. The sides of the car were scraped up with cinder blocks to give it the"wrecked" appearance

 and given stock car wheels. From this point, the car was used as the Richard Petty race car that was wrecked while filming a tire commercial in Hazzard County

in episode No. 4, Repo Men, where it was 1 of 11 used cars for sale at Ace's Clean Used Car lot, and then being pulled by the General on a trailer with Cooter riding in it.

This Original front Valance has all LEE1's color history on it; it has the Original bronse color, the Original orange color and the bluish/green color.

You can see the holes where the pushbar went true, and it has been signed by John Schneider, the actor who played Bo Duke!
