Ashley GT Hardtop for MG Midget / AH Sprite.
Removed from 1965 AH Sprite. I have the "boot section" as well, just don't have a photo. Stored in garage, in Derby, for the last 15 years. All windows are glass, the sides should open - don't know as I never used the top. Just found the hardboard "parcel shelf insert" in the loft, just added photo's of that. Cash on collection welcome. On 14-Dec-14 at 23:03:48 GMT, seller added the following information: Just to be clear a 1965 AH Sprite is a Mark 3 which is the same as a Mark 2 MG Midget, wind up windows and the hood is removable when not in use and stored in the boot. I don't know if the Ashley hardtop will fit another variant. On 16-Dec-14 at 19:24:32 GMT, seller added the following information: Just added more photos, they show a small star crack in the gel coat on the top of the hardtop - there are two of these. There is some gel coat cracking on the left hand side rear 3/4 pillar, some damage to the rear edge of the hardtop and included a photo of the round boot tail - again with a small gel coat crack on one of the bolt holes. I've added a photo to show the side windows open. I bought the car with hardtop on and had to remove the front rail over centre clips from the hard top to allow me to fit my soft top, so they ARE NOT included - but your clips on your soft top should fit. The boot hinges are included as are the side window hinges, the boot lock and handle are included, but I haven't as yet found the key for the boot tail. If anybody who has bid now decides the top is not for them, please contact me and I'm sure we can get your bids cancelled. Cheers, |
