Sub-Mariner 13 (1941 Spring) Timely (Alex Schomburg bondage, skull, hooded cultists, Japanese War cover, Nazis inside). Graded 1.4 (Fr) using the Overstreet comic book grading system. Clean cover. Bagged with backing board. 1.25" triangle cover chip bottom spine corner. Despite the not insignificant chip the cover is still very attractive - See all (8) pictures. Two centerfold pages detached. Complete. Some staining bottom corner center pages. At one point additional staples were added .25"-.5" from spine - through the book to reattach the center pages I assume, although they are now gone, the holes remain. The holes do not affect any interior art. Paper is brown but not brittle. [Cover art by Alex Schomburg.
