This is an actual Beta kit for the original Peachy Printer. Parts have been checked against the Parts Checklist and are all apparently here. It has never been assembled. I backed the Peachy Printer via Backerkit at the $600 Beta tester level. Support and development did not appear adequate to justify my time in building the kit, so I bided my time for the full release in hopes of a simple upgrade.

As of today, 5/11, Peachy Printer founder Rylan Grayston has announced that the project is out of money due to theft from a principal partner that ensued from the beginning of the receipt of funds by the project.

This marks a historic occasion not only for Peachy Printer, but for the 3D printing community as a whole and for crowdfunding more generally. I'm putting the Beta Kit up here for anybody who still wants to build a Peachy Printer, as well as for collectors who recognize the extreme rarity of this history making "3D Printer."

There were 118 Beta Kits backed on Kickstarter and 10 more on Indiegogo. I can't speculate about how many people may have received one via Backerkit as I did, but in any case, there aren't many of these around, and I venture to say there never will be.

I'm starting the bidding at $600 for this kit as I would like to simply be reimbursed the money that I'm out and I don't really think I'll ever see it any other way. Maybe you want to put this in your collection of rare and collectible 3D printers and are willing to pay more. Fine with me. Perhaps you have been similarly defrauded by Peachy or are an attorney seeking class action in this matter and would like this kit for evidentiary purposes. Bid away. Maybe you are a technology journalist and you want to look into the function of this purportedly revolutionary design and its actual level of development two years ago.

Have fun bidding!

Note: Edited to include 100mL bottle of Peach Juice Stiff Beta resin, produced by Maker Juice Labs, as well as a 500mL bottle of Maker Juice Labs Substance G UV resin. The SubG was my choice for an extra bottle of resin. Together a $40 "value."
