Clarissa is a solid, full body
silicone baby with a jointed neck. She was sculpted,
molded and cast in platinum ecoflex 20 silicone by
myself. Her body has been poured in one piece
with no joints or seems.
Clarissa is a limited edition of no more
than 8. She is #1 Artist proof/a possible 8including
prototypes.
Clarissa is incredibly lifelike and has the weight
and feel of a real newborn.
Clarissa was painted with silicone paints which
will never rub or wear off. She has also been matted to reduce
any unwanted shine off the silicone.
The
detail in this sculpt is incredibly realistic, right down
to her wrinkly newborn feet.
As with all
handmade items you will find Clarissa has some minor
flaws. These flaws do not deter from the realism of the
doll.
(please note a
pimply texture around her neck/under her jaws)
I have done my
best to bring all of the qualities of a true newborn to life
in this 'baby'.
Her hair is
micro-rooted with curly black premium Slumberland
angora mohair . Care will have to be taken when combing and
washing hair as her head is solid silicone which prevents
securing the hair from the inside of the head.
Subtle , blue
tones, veining, and capillaries have been applied 'under' the
skin to give all the depth and tones of a real newborn
complexion.
Clarissa is an awake baby with
beautiful brown eyes framed by delicate micro-rooted lashes
and eyebrows to match her hair.
Clarissa's head
will need supporting just like a true newborn and can move
from side to side.
Clarissa weighs 8lbs 8oz, giving the feel of a
good 10+lb baby. Even I am amazed at how real she feels as she
molds to the shape of your arms. You might actually
believe you are holding a real live baby!
She comes
adorned with gorgeous outfits and coordinating
accessories.
Clarissa has an open mouth with sculpted gums
and a tongue and will take a full, unmodified soother or a
baby bottle.
She wears
Newborn to 0-3 month clothes.

Shipping ( Outside continental USA and Canada) is
$120.00 eXpress with insurance included.
Please note
that this is the cheapest I can ship a doll worldwide due to
changes with Canada Post policies and is often at a loss to
myself.
Any
customs/duty charges are the responsibility of
the buyer.
Return Policy
All of my
'babies' are shipped with insurance and so if your
'baby' is damaged or lost during transit then a full refund
will be issued upon receipt of
insurance compensation from Canada Post.
As I have
included many clear photos of the doll taken in natural light,
over a number of days, I will not accept returns for any other
reason for my silicone dolls
