Suit Measurement Guide

1)  Chest Size Measurement

We list the tag size if available but some suits do not have a tag size on the inside of the jacket so we have to list an estimate tag size. The way we estimate the tag size is based on the actual measurement of the jacket. Most manufacturers and tailors will cut the jacket 4 inches larger than the actual chest measurement of the individual. Some will vary from 3 inches to 6 inches larger than the tagged size but most will be 4 inches so we follow that standard.

It is a common misconception that a size 42 jacket would have a 42 inch chest. If this were the case you wouldn't be able to put it on and button it. If your chest measures 42 inches you will likely wear a size 42 jacket but the jacket will have an actual measurement of 46 inches.

Beware of eBay sellers who say a jacket is a size 42 and that it measures 42 inches. Either it doesn't have a tag and actually measures 42 inches (which means it should be tagged as a 38) or it is tagged as a 42 and they dont know how to measure correctly, or they didn't take an actual measurement at all.

2)  Waist on Jacket Measurement

The waist of the jacket can be found at different points depending on the make. It is usually found at the second button (from the bottom.) The waist measurement is usually smaller than the chest measurement, depending on body type.

3)  Sleeve Length

This is taken from the top of the sleeve at the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. We also determine how much extra fabric there is in the sleeve to be let out if needed. We do this by measuring the extra fabric and subtracting 1 inch to allow for the hem.

4)  Shoulder Width

This measurement should be taken from shoulder seam to shoulder seam at the widest point.

5)  Jacket Length

Measure from the bottom of the collar in back to the bottom of the jacket.

Items will be shipped the following business day after payment is received.
Some packages may ship the same day if payments are received before 2 pm EDT/EST.

Payment

We accept paypal payments only. Payments must be made within 48 hours of auction close otherwise the item may be relisted. If for some reason there is a problem with your payment contact us within 24 hours to let us know.

Returns

Satisfaction Guaranteed! We urge customers to carefully check their measurements before bidding to ensure the best results. However we do take returns/exchanges within 30 days. As a smaller company, and in order to provide lower prices to everyone, we do not issue refunds for shipping costs if you simply bought the wrong size. If the item you purchased doesn't fit as a result of inaccurate measurements listed, we will pay for return shipping as well as issue a full refund. For exchanges or refunds for items that just don't fit, we will only issue a refund for the item itself and the buyer will be responsible for return shipping. If you have any specific questions about a return please contact us through the contact seller option.

All of our items are carefully looked over for imperfections before listing. If any imperfections are found they will be noted in the description. If you receive an item and find any problem with it please contact us immediately before filing a complaint so we can find a solution.
