eBay
up for auction is a rare wicker vanity, table, and chair made by lloyd's loom of somewhere in the state of michican, i forget just where. it is on the tag. the set is dated 1917. anyway, the tag says lloyd loom, maker of baby carriages and furniture. all three pieces are painted gold with the original paint. the vanity is a neat piece, i have never had a wicker vanity. it has a nice gallery at the back and sides about 5 inches tall and a center drawer in the front. it is in great condition as far as the wicker goes. i see no frayed or missing pieces on the vanity. there is a design in the wicker on the front and sides near the corners, this kinda looks like damage to the wicker in the pictures, but is a a blown out design. the top of the vanity has some wear to the gold paint. it's condition is near perfect for a 100 year old piece. the vanity is 30.5 inches wide at the front, 30 tall from floor to top of vanity surface and 35.5 inches tall to top of gallery. the table is near mint condition for wicker. it is 24.5 inches in diameter and 29 inches tall. the vanity chair is 16 inches wide, 34 tall, has a 16 inch deep seat which is 18 inches from the floor to the top of the seat. the chair has some missing and frayed wicker which can be seen in the pictures. the construction of the chair is fine, just missing some wicker. these pieces have been in storage a long time and are dirty. i wiped off some of the dust and cob webs, but the whole set needs cleaned. i think it cost about 450 many years ago and that is where i am starting it. it may be picked up at my home or it can be shipped at the buyers expense. i can hel arrange shipping if that would be helpful to any one. good luck.
