Up for consideration is for one (1), Eastern Maple, Ribbon Curl Pattern, luthier billet for your own personal 59' replica, to be resawn for a deep dish carved top set.  This has vivid flame figuring and not the typical pinstripe flame or tiger curl.  This is about all sapwood and slab sawn cut.  This is old grown with tight growth rings, bull maple material with approximately 16 growth rings per inch!   

Ideal for a 59' burst personal replica or a vintage re-top OR you can book-match the billet to net multiple laminated top sets for stratocaster or telecaster, etc..  Note the LP template overlay (length for reference is 17-9/16") for visual reference.

20-3/8" long   x  8-3/8" wide  x  1-3/4" thick.

Material has been kiln dried (currently @ 9% mc), rough surfaced planed 2 face, sapwood, slab sawn cut.  There is a faint remnant of mineral stain tailing on the cutaway outline top halve at the lower bout, adjacent to the control cavity- these should come out with several passes through the planer (1/8"-3/16" removal) to net a clean thickness of 1-8/16" to 1-9/16" thickness.  This is not a finished product and will required additional surfacing. Both ends sealed with wax. A thin shellac was brushed on all the surface in order to high light the color, grain and figuring- shellac is forgiving and can easily be removed with denatured alcohol or fine sanding.
