Heritage Auction Promo Catalog

The Personal Property of John Wayne

together with Intelligent Collector

This week: I am again offering several lots of auction catalogs that I have received over the years.  The catalogs for the luxuruy sales are in pristine, I would say mint condition - never read.  No markings or dog ears, totally clean and including all papers....promo materials and bid sheets for absentee bids, etc.  These are beautifully and very finely printed, full color catalogs. If you had wanted to purchase these from Heritage, you would have paid $50. each catalog (price printed on the back of each one)! Shipping will be by media mail, and cost will be proportionate to the number of catalogs in each package...so multiple purchases will reduce your cost.

IN THIS LOT:

1. The auction "highlights" catalog of the personal property of the famous actor John Wayne.  The auction was held in Los Angeles, CA from Oct 6-7, 2011.  This 18 pp advertising booklet was distributed to announce the sale, highlight some of the offerings from the sale, and promote sales of full 300 page limited edition catalog of the auction.

2. A copy of the Heritage magazine "The Intelligent Collector" issue #14, Summer/Fall 2011, which previewed the sale and featured a pull out reproduction poster for the film "The Oregon Trail"

NOTE: you are bidding on both items in excellent, like new condition; no writing, damage, creases.  Only minor shelf wear

BEFORE YOU BID ON THIS AUCTION
: a few more details regarding our Terms of sale and Shipping

Items are offered at sale prices for only as long as the auction lasts, and I do accept returns - but with some caveats  -  because it's the only way I can offer items from my inventory at such substantially lower prices.    I will be invoicing all high bidders immediately after auction close, and will expect payment within THREE days of auction close - and a response to my invoice within 24 hours, so that I know you are receiving my email....but I will accept payments for up to a week past the end of the auction, so long as you respond to my invoice in appropriate fashion.  IF I haven’t heard from the high bidder, or received payment, within one week after the auction closes, I will consider the auction void and take appropriate other actions, as eBay permits.  Please note that I will not falsify customs declarations at your request, nor be responsible for any delays caused by customs inspections.  I will ship all items within two business days of receiving payment unless directed otherwise.

My standard accepted form of payment is Paypal - however you may contact me if you wish to arrange an alternative payment method.

Shipping: When I am shipping books and magazines, I typically them via USPS MEDIA mail or whatever service is least expensive, so if you wish faster service, or another method, let me know and I'll compute the difference if any in shipping costs.  Overseas, shipping will be USPS first class air or international priority mail, depending on weight, and please note that books and magazines can often be quite heavy to ship.  Insurance is usually not available for those classes of service for overseas shipments.  If that is important to you, please inquire before bidding for a quote based on other classes of service, or carriers.  Note, I will not ship art to APO addresses or some overseas locations; if you want to talk me out of that, get in touch.   Nominal handling fees are added when needed, to cover 3rd party insurance costs and/or delivery confirmation, based on estimates of final value, for domestic shipments.

Be sure to check out my other listings!  My eBay auctions go from Sunday night to Sunday night (U.S. time).   For illustration art see the Worlds of Wonder catalog and website, and for anything else you need to know, just ask! Happy bidding!
