Reluctantly selling my Epiphone Les Paul Jr '57. This is the now rare and hard to find limited Custom Shop model which was made to a very high spec and was quickly regarded as a must have amongst enthusiasts when it was launched in 2006. This is not to be confused with the cheaper and inferior bolt-on-neck version, this model is generally regarded as being as close as you can get to the Gibson itself without paying the premium price.

This is a really nice guitar to play, the feeling and sound of resonance created when playing unplugged is a good indication of the quality of build, it's certainly the loudest unplugged electric guitar I've every owned. The fretboard is smooth and very easy to play, the frets show very little wear as I unfortunately have not used it anyway near as much as I should have. 

Plugged-in it has a nice mellow clean tone if a little harsh without some of the tone dialled-out but it really excels with some distortion/overdrive producing quite a snarl. I've read that the P-100 pick-up can be easily modified to turn it into the traditional P-90 that the original Gibson models were fitted with but I've never had the need to try it. 

The Grover machine-heads/tuners are the best I've ever used, they are very very smooth in operation and have a large resolution making fine tuning a doddle. 

The guitar is is in overall good condition with no major flaws, the headstock and neck are as close to as-new as I can tell. The fretboard has a slight 'chip' right at the bottom by the b-string where it meets the body but this has been there from new and has never bothered me as it's on a non-played part but can be seen in the photos. 

The bridge could probably do with some attention as the posts do not sit flush in the body making the bridge assembly lean. The guitar generally stays in tune after being warmed up so I don't think there's any movement in the bridge but it's probably worth keeping in mind it may need attention at some point. At worst I would think a fill and re-drill operation would fix it. 

Around the bridge posts the body has suffered some small knocks that have cracked the lacquer. there are approx 4 indentations ~4mm length, I've tried my best to show them in the photos but they are difficult to show as they are also not obvious in real life. 

The body has very light scratches from general use, again virtually invisible in real life but worth mentioning so you don't think you're getting a brand new guitar. 

The bridge itself has a little wear from screwdriver adjustments, mainly to the screws the change the bridge height, these could easily be replaced if required for aesthetic reasons. 

Hoping someone will consider this a bargain and with a little TLC give my epi a nice new home where he'll be looked after and enjoyed!
