Bill Tipton's guide to repairing cuckoo clocks is an excellent step-by-step illustrated guide to repairing these unique clocks. Because of its broad usage, the Regula 25 thirty-hour movement was chosen as the model for this volume. In addition to the traditional table of contents (see images below), there is a Repair Flow Chart which lists the steps in succession and leads you to the next step depending on outcome. In general, the book takes you through removal and inspection of the movement, disassembly, cleaning and lubricating, testing, adjusting, repairing, reassemble and installation of the movement. An troubleshooting guide is included as an appendix.
