Comanche trailer tent with extras for sale

This much loved and enjoyed trailer tent is for sale complete with everything you will need to go camping straight away!

We bought this trailer tent about three years ago and since then we’ve spent a lot of money improving and adding to it.

With a funky retro design in orange and green, this fold out canvas tent boasts two double bedrooms (see pics 7 & 8)
There is a large awning that attaches to the side of the tent doubling its size and providing a large area for tables, chairs and cooking facilities (see pics 1, 3 & 6).
Last year we purchased a whole brand new frame costing £300, and we have just had the canvas
re-waterproofed. There has been a minor repair made to the body of the trailer tent on the front passenger side corner, but other than that the body work is perfectly sound.

Unlike some other trailer tents, that are large tents packed and carried in a trailer, the Comanche simply folds out with the frame already assembled.
The main tent itself can be erected in about 15 -20 mins and because of its design, setting up in the rain is simple.  You simply fold open the trailer, fit a small cross bar and pull the tent straight up and over your head and within 5 mins you’re inside the tent!

The trailer tent has wind down feet that are used to stabilise and level the tent (see pic 11).There is an all in one gas hob, grill, sink and draws unit that is held on the front of the trailer, this is simply lifted out and two legs are attached to the sides. We have modified this unit to include an extra draw and quick fit gas connections which allow quick and easy setup with the addition of safe and easy gas connections for a gas fridge and a gas BBQ (FRIDGE and BBQ NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE) and quick and a simple connection to the gas bottle (see pics 5 & 9)

Other additions to the trailer are a large battery tray on the front of the trailer (see pic 4). This can hold a 150AH hour battery in a plastic case and used to power the test (Not Included)

The trailer tent its self is very light, and towing it is effortless, we have towed caravans before and even the light ones can pull you around in a cross wind, but this trailer tent is like towing a small trailer. And being narrower than your average family car, it poses no problems through busy Cornish village roads.
The trailer tent also has means to strap all your other accessories such as wind breaks, chairs and whatever else you wish to take with you. But in addition to this we have also attached a roof box for those extra bits you wish to keep secure and out of the elements.
The only reason we are selling our beloved trailer tent of ours is, after many years of enjoying the camping experience with our young family we are now taking the next step and moving up to a motor home.
