Condition

This hardback book is in good condition. The rear hardcover board has some light discolouration and the spine's colour is faded by light (see pictures). The endpapers are browned, but the book's pages are crisp and clean, with only a few of them having slight, not pronounced, creases. The pages have no foxing. The red page edge is shiny, and the boards' gilt lettering and insignia are intact. The front endpaper has the inscription of a previous owner (Cambridge), but otherwise there is no writing or annotation. The binding is fine, and there are no loose pages. The book comes with an insert (addendum), the edges of which are creased, with one corner having a small 0.5 CM tear. The six coloured placemarking ribbons are a little faded by light.
