My metallic black hardtop is for sale, including genuine stand and cover with large Porsche logo. Location is near Cheltenham, in the Cotswolds (just a couple of hours from London...)

 

This is a late 986 hardtop (2004) which Porsche revised/improved slightly but it will fit all 986s. It is metallic black (Basalt, I understand) which means that it can be used with most other body colours too. My 986 is silver, for example, and the black top looks great, if a little retro. Mixing colours is not to everyone's taste but my car came with a dark fabric roof, so the look is very similar - see photoshopped image included. Alternatively, it is common to respray these tops to suit.

 

Condition is really very good indeed, with no dents or dings, but there is a barely visible tiny patch of micro scratches - like a cat scratch - on one of the pillars. I would rather be honest about this. You can only see these marks when you get really close - I have taken a picture but because the roof is black all you can see is reflections.
