This is a beautiful and delicate large rectangular Brussels needlelace shawl. It measures 25.5 ins x 132 ins. Condition slightly less than good. There are scattered small holes to the net ground and a couple of neat repairs. Worst fault I think are 2 areas of age browning, one large, one small - I'm adding a photo of the larger area on a cream background. Apart from this a lovely piece. The centre shows medallions with scrolling ribbons and bows, the  rococo design of curling flowers and wheatears repeats either side.
