We booked these tickets in June with Thomson having travelled to Costa Rica many times before, usually with Continental (now Allied) which involved having to transfer in Houston. 

These flights are direct non stop on the Dreamliner and include Extra legroom seats and Extra baggage allowance for surfboards. 

Due to unexpected business commitments we can no longer make the trip and Thomson will not refund or exchange the flights, however with an admin cost of £50 per person they will change the names on the tickets. 

These tickets cost £1800 plus the cost of the extra baggage - they will get you to the north of Costa Rica which is perfect for exploring or visiting the Nicoya peninsula - 

If you surf check out Playa Grande - Tamarindo - Avellenas - Nosara - Santa Theresa etc. 

If you don't, you have phenomenal wild life - unspoilt beaches - rain forest and Volcanoes in the safest of Central American countries.  Paradise unspoilt.

Accommodation is plentiful and ranges from rough and ready backpacker hostels at $15 per night through comfortable, rustic and charming beachside ranchos 2-3 star at $100 per night to luxury money to burn 5 star hotels. 

Easily the most chilled place in the world that we have travelled to and surfed.
