In the 1960s more so than the American Overcoat it was there style of Rain Mac than was the cross over icon of outwear, for the proffesional, the Ivy Leaguer, the Mod and later the Suedehead.

The main reason I am selling this is it's simply too small for me and so looks a little bit tight for the fit I want. Despite the light staining/ fading it looks and works superb in wet weather. With wet AND cold weather it really is the perfect jacket, particularly in the wet atmosphere of the British Climate. The fading shown is in strong light, which exaggerates the effect. It is still a great bad weather jacket and when wet, no one will notice any fading!

As those who have seen Mad Men may remember at one time these were the best selling rain jacket in the United States!
