for 2000# and 2200# axles from Dexter, AL-KO, and others!(used on most snow mobile and small utility trailers often with smaller 8", 10" or 12" tires)

If you have a trailer without brakes, and you want to add them, this kit has EVERYTHING you will need. This kit fits standard 2000# axle, either Spring or Torsion, EZ lube or Standard with the 1" spindle size. (the 1 1/16" spindle size is available, just let me know, and we will send that one instead) Standard spindle length is approximately 3 1/2" from threads to bearing shoulder. (we have seen rare cases where the spindle was shorter)

Kit includes, all NEW:

Two Brake backing plates, 2200# capacity per pair, 7" diameter, one left, one right
All hardware to attach backing plates to axle
All brake hardware, springs, levers, magnets, shoes, (EVERYTHING) etc. already installed on backing plates
New 7" brake drums, 4 bolt, 4" bolt circle (I have these with 5 studs, this auction is for one 4 studs for lug nuts, if you need hubs with 5 studs, let me know, and I will list one, or see my other auctions.)(Click here for instructions the measure your bolt pattern)
New inner grease seals.
25' of 14 gauge two conductior High Temp Brake wire
Assorted wire connectors and wire ties
New 7 way trailer plug

Fits either 1" (or 1 1/16" Axle Spindle), so if your Axle tube size is 1-5/8" this kit should fit your axle. Also, you must have a small plate with 4 holes welded around your tube for the brake plate to bolt to. (most axles do)

Items under 90 pounds are shipped regular ground service by the lowest cost method.
We ship using USPS (Mail) and UPS at our discretion, based on lowest cost- (You must provide both mailing and physical shipping address, if different). , but we may use others at our discretion.
Priority Mail or First Class Mail is used for small packages (not parcel post or media mail).
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico may be charged a shipping cost more the amount listed for this item, please ask before you pay.
Tracking numbers are emailed (if you supply an email address) the morning after your item ships

We will ship outside the United States, please contact us for shipping quotes. Any items advertised as "free Shipping" will be shipped to the lower 48 United States

We will ship via UPS Ground upon request.
We will ship overnight UPS or UPS, for actual shipping cost. Please Call - if your order is time critical. We don't sit at the computer all day, and sometime e-mails get delayed...

We ship as fast as possible. That's usually the next business day. So on Wednesday we are shipping orders from Tuesday. On Monday we ship orders from the weekend as well, so it is posible for your order to take more than one day to ship.

Normally we ship M-F, within 24 hours of payment (weekend/holiday purchases are usually shipped the next business day) BUT we may ship as fast as 20 minutes after you pay, so if you want or need special requirements, or want us to "hold" the order, DO NOT PAY until you are ready for us to ship!

UPS and USPS DO NOT OFFER discounts of multiple packages to the same address, even when shipped to the same address on the same day. (Mail or shipping cost is the same cost per package or envelope, no matter how many you mail or ship to that person)

It has come to my attention that some axles do not have the small 4 bolt flange welded to it, that is needed to mount the brake backing plate. Below is a picture (of a spring axle, not torsion). If you do not have this, I can furnish the plates, but they must be WELDED on:
