40 amp 600 Volt Stud Blocking Diode

This listing is for a brand new 40 amp., 600 Volt stud blocking diode. This diode will work perfectly with nearly any wind generator or solar panel application. There other diodes sold on ebay that are rated for 5-20 amps. While there is nothing wrong with these diodes, in many cases they do not have a high enough amperage rating to handle wind generator or solar panel set-ups.  A wind generator can output some serious amps when the wind is blowing hard. For this reason, we only sell diodes that are rated to handle at least 40 Amps.

Why you need to use a diode:
 All wind generator or solar panel applications require a diode. For example, a diode will allow electricity to flow from your wind generator to your battery bank, allowing your windmill to charge your battery bank. It will NOT allow electricity to flow from your battery bank to your wind generator. If this happens, electricity would go to the motor on the windmill from the battery bank and spin the motor when there is no wind. The motor would spin until the battery bank was completely drained (very bad).

 How to install the diode:
 Look at the main product photo to see how to install your diode. Install the diode in the positive wire in between your generator (wind generator or solar panel) and battery bank.
