These are hand-wired and put together by myself personally. The Deano’s Amp Booster Box achieves an effect similar to that of more expensive power soaks at a fraction of the cost. If your amp has a serial effects loop or a set of preamp out and power amp in jacks, you can use this box to get the tube tone you paid for without blasting them through the walls. The Deano’s Amp Booster Box is designed to work with the effects loop of an amp. If your amp doesn't have an effects loop, this is not for you. If your amp doesn't have a Master Volume control or if your Master Volume only controls the drive channel the Deano’s Amp Booster Box will give you master control of all your channels and settings at once. This is a VERY cool item, everyone knows that all tube amps sound AMAZING when cranked WAY up so that the tubes are really being pushed, but that's much too loud right? This simple box solves that problem without performing ANY modifications to the amp at all!!! Simply plug it into the effects loop send and return on your amp and turn the amp volume up as high as you want, then adjust the overall volume with the Deano's Amp Booster Box...this allows you to get more of that full blown open tube tone at nice safe levels, it really works great! From zero to one it's either on or off but it you move the knob very slowly at a snails pace you will be able to crank the volume. Works on Marshall Guitar amps with a send and return socket with a standard (series) effects loop regardless of ohm load/power rating/impedance! Many players are using these boxes as their secret weapon to dial in that pure tube tone at reasonable levels for VERY little money, works great live, at home, in the studio, wherever! Simply send from your amp into the input of the booster box and then out of the booster box into the return of your amp. This device also helps solve the problem of an EXTREMELY touchy volume knob on your amp, you know what I mean, zero has no volume but 1 or 2 is already MUCH too loud, The Deano's Amp Booster Box takes care of that. DEFINITELY the most cost effective investment you can make for your tube amp, lets you really drive those tubes without blowing everybody off the stage (or driving your neighbours crazy!). This box is made of strong moulded plastic, all quality components are used, very well made and absolutely WILL NOT HURT YOUR AMP! Yes you CAN still use your effects loop for other devices while using the Deano's Amp Booster Box, just be sure to place the Box last in the loop and everything will work just fine! Box is very simple to use, no batteries to change or anything like that, just plug and play, well worth keeping in your case for that smaller gig I will not go anywhere without mine.
