IMPORTANT – QUICKSTART
INSTRUCTIONS:
Your Teleporter has
been pretested and setup for immediate use out of the box. Do not
change any settings until you are familiar with the system. Power up the system in the following order:
1)
Charge both batteries via the battery charging
instructions. 2)
Place 5G8 antenna on headset (left eye side) 3)
Place shorter 433Mzh antenna onto headset (right
eye side)
4)
Insert battery into headset strap pocket and with
the headset resting level, plug in battery 5)
Remove lens cap from pan/tilt camera 6)
Place 5G8 antenna on transmitter
7)
Affix pan/tilt camera on RC model 8)
Plug in balance lead of battery into noise
filter PCB 9)
FPV system is now operational.
Specifics of limited edition
Teleporter version
The Teleporter you
have purchased is a limited edition production and has some control limitations
unique to this version. The RCV922 5G8
headset has a 7 channel receiver but the head tracking link is only 3
channels. The head tracker will only work
when the headset is on CH4, CH6 and CH7 (Channels 1, 2, 3, 5 can receive AV but
HT link won’t work). Your Teleporter has
come preset on CH7. Refer to below
channel selection chart.
Note: The included manual was written for the
RCV922 Aviator Edition and contents may not be as described in main manual.
The transmitter/camera/dongle does not
need to be powered off the included battery. The Filter PCB can supply power to the TX
from the balance lead of either 2S or 3S RC battery packs.

Note: DIP3 sets output channel either 5/6 or 7/8 if
using Futaba data cable to connect to compatible Futaba radios (radio must
support selective trainer assignment). DIP4 reverses servo
direction.
Note: Receiver dongle can be modified to work with
Turnigy 9X and Spektrum DX8 radios but requires soldering skills and additional
data cable. Contact Fat Shark if
required.
Battery
Charging
The 700mAh 7.4V lithium polymer battery pack is equipped
with a 3 pole balance charger lead that allows the battery to be charged off
standard RC battery pack chargers (not included). Follow your charger instructions for setting
up for 700mAh 7.4V Li-po. Note: some chargers require the discharge cable to be
connected. Use the enclosed discharge
lead adapter for these types of chargers.
Note: If the charger fails to announce charge
complete, but is showing battery voltage at 8.4V, the charge can be considered
finished

NOT LEAVE BATTERY ATTACHED TO CHARGER WHEN
CHARGER IS NOT PLUGGED IN.

Kit is far more awesome than hoped.!Instant
geek cred - taped the camera to a box and stuffed it in my pocket and
walked around the production studio with goggles on.. did not crash
myself into anything. (but found out that turning around also turns the
camera ha ha. goggle need a red "reset" position button. everybody
is freaked out how cool this is.
Step two.
print a box to fit the kit so it can be strapped or welcroed to a
airframe. Im thinking tight strap to the underside of the prop arm
will be awesome. but don't want to adjust anything on the professional
airframes at the studio. (unauthorized adjusts is the quick way to get
in trouble)if the wind dies maybe it will get
some airtime this weekend, but either way the 3D printer will be making a
all in one box for the flying part.
