Here's a nice, rare Paleo Indian Period? (11,000-9,500 yr. old) Possible CLOVIS/CROWFIELD Variant Lightly Fluted Point from along the Susquehanna River in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. It's 1 5/8 in. long, 5/16 in. thick, nicely made of weathered black felsite and in perfect condition. There are attempts at fluting and basal thinning on both faces. Light grinding is apparent on the base and about a third of the way up both blade edges. This could be a "sleeper" point, a paleo available at a very low price! I don't guarantee this to be a Paleo point but it has many of the desired characteristics of one! It has a notation on one side, "SN12", which is likely a Snyder Co., site location. It's from the Don Gordon collection. My AACA, ARROWPACK and G.I.R.S. memberships guarantee the authenticity of my artifacts for life, OR YOUR MONEY BACK! Buyer pays $2.25 S/H. No reserve. Good luck!
