You are buying a semi guided Cow Elk hunt including the Landowner voucher and with permission to hunt my private ranch in Summit County Utah for the 2012 season. Located 1 hour Northeast of Salt Lake City, UT. This is a fair-chase hunt. No high fences. The total price of this hunt is $699 per hunter. If you have a party of at least 4 or more, the price is $499 per hunter. I will also give you the ranch to yourselves for 7 straight days. You can schedule your hunt for 7days anytime between Nov 15 - Jan 31, 2013(contact me for available dates). I will show you the ranch the first morning up as so you know the boundaries and where and how the elk come into the ranch. (basically how to hunt them). This ranch has approximately 2,500 acres of huntable land. See PICS for photos of the ranch, and few animals taken over the last few years. The hunting gets real good after a foot of snow covers the ranch. You can access the ranch by ATV, and or by snowmobiles when the snow gets deep. The voucher is good for any weapons; however there are plenty of long shots possible, so I recommend high power rifles. The elevation is between 6,400-8,500 feet. The Cow Elk license fees are: nonresidents-$216, residents-$65 and can be purchased by mail or over the counter at any Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, Regional offices with my landowner voucher. There is a NEW Best Western Motel located 15 minutes away from the ranch located in Coalville, UT. Room rates are $79/night, they can be contacted at [phone removed by eBay]. There is a grocery store in town also. If you need to rent snowmobiles, there are a couple places to choose from approximately 45 minutes away from the ranch, the average $75-$125/day. I can help arrange accommodations and snowmobile/ATV rental if need be. This is a fun hunt for the wife or kids just starting out. You must be 12 years of age and have a valid hunter safety card from any state to hunt Utah. Or have been born before Dec 31, 1965 in order to be exempt from a hunter safety course.
