This is the famous silk scarf named "Paris Modistel" designed for Hermes by Hugo Grygkar in 1956. As you know, this pattern has been reissued by Hermes in 2006, but with differences that do it cannot be mistaken for the original. This one is the original. This scarf is one of the most sought after Hermes scarves.

The pattern shows ladies with hats circa 1840. Like all the original issues, it has a border (blue), a white roule and no copyright. Also spelled as "Paris Modiste" without the L of the end.
Colors are paler than on the photos, the signature of the old vintage Hermes scarves.
The condition is excellent +++++. Just a small thread has moved. This scarf has been a very few worn and carefully stored. It is in a stunning condition for an over 50 years old scarf ! Surely impossible to find in better condition.
