Peugeot 205 Gti Rallycar.

We dont normally sell complete cars but this car is a very nice ideal starter car that offers a perfect base for a future much more powerful engine if needed. Although we did not build this car it has been well put together with all the right bits and has been maintained properly with love!. 

To be honest we bought in with the intention to break for parts, but, as said the car is a very good car so couldnt!!

We have gone through the car, inspected front to back and put right small bits and updated throughout to current MSA spec. You can be assured it comes with AB Motorsport approval and to those of you who know us, you know our reputation means more than a cheap and nastie car!

It is spanner checked ready to do a rally, just needs road tax.

Engine / Box:

Strong 1.6 engine built to challenge spec 115bhp. Running the standard injection system with a Group A modified distributor.

BE3 gearbox fitted with peugeot sport 4.8 CWP and Kaaz plated diff. (New Oil)

Rose Jointed gear linkage

1.9 Gti driveshafts and hubs.

Body:

Seam Welded shell fitted with modified Safety Device Roll cage to incorporate harness bar and double cross in rear.

Sparco Corsa VTR seats dated until 09/13 and 10/13

TRS 5 point belts brand new dated until end 2017

Fuel box welded on top of tank for easy acess to pump and sender unit.

Battery box mounted above fuel tank on a fabricated platform.

All electrics modified for easy access to fuses, relays on dash, ECU in pass footwell etc etc

Terratrip 303 trip with remote control

Full floor and sill protection with Kaylan

4mm mudflaps to all wheels

Lifeline electric extinguisher system 2.25 and 1.75 handheld

Powerflow stainless exhaust system skidded.

Power steering.

Alloy foot trays in passenger and drivers side.

Forest spec PTS sumpguard, chassis mounted.

Has a first aid bag, a new spill kit and a tow rope in the car.

Suspension:

Front coil over Bilstein Peugeot Sport Struts fitted with forest inserts and Tarmac springs (what we recomend for best all round use)

PTS rose jointed top mounts

PTS Rose jointed front suspension arms with new inner wishbone bushes. 

Rear beam just rebuilt (ourselves) and fitted with new forest spec Bilstein shocks.

Rear Beam Group A solid mounting kit

Brakes:

Front are 1.9 Gti calipers fitted with Mintex pads

Rear are 1.9 disc fitted with Mintex pads, calipers on rear are less than 6 months old.

PTS hydraulic handbrake mounted on origional lever so still compliant with regs, flyoff lever.

Braided lines where required and hard lines through car.

PTS bias pedal box with dash adjuster.

PTS wheel studs

 

There are a couple of minor things that need doing at some point:

The front rose joints need rubber boots fitting, 2 x new ones are supplied with the car.

The trip meter is fitted but not wired in.

It needs 'personalising' to a new owner!

 

Tried to cover all aspects of the car sorry if anything gets missed but it is minor (hopefully!) will keep updating the spec with items we have forgotton about!


If you come and view and buy the car it can be delivered if you dont yet have a trailer. Its £1.30 per mile return trip
