RESTORATION IDENTIFICATION PLATE WITH DRIVE SCREWS (RIVETS)

I've worked on a number of 154's and have a nice restored one listed (see my other listings) and they all have one thing in common - the original ID plate is all faded and looks horrible and is nearly impossible to read. I ordered a new International ID tag from a well known restoration parts dealer (for $20) but it didn't have the model number or the prefix to the serial number printed on it. So I did a bunch of research and found a place that would make a new tag for my restoration from the original that I sent them. The minimum order was 10 but 100 didn't cost a whole lot more than 10 so I decided that I'd let you, the buyer, share in the cost of my restoration and get you a perfect tag for a very fair price.

Mark is right. The tags exceeded my expectations. Quality screen printed in epoxy. Same exact size, same hole placement, same thickness, same everything. Upon your purchase, supply me with your six digit stamped serial number and I'll add it to the serial number line with number stamps that are same as the original. Or you can get it blank and do your own. Here is what you'll need to do:

Shear off your old drive screws (look like rivets) with a cold chisel.
Center punch and drill out the old screws exactly on center with a number 31 drill (1/8" will work). Drill clear through the frame.
Set the new plate in place and hammer in the drive screws.
Done

I also purchased new ID plates for the 3160 mower deck and the domed shift pattern plate fopr the shifter knob. Look for those in separate listings. Same perfect matches!
