Here’s a great vintage 1968 George Romney for President poster. George was a much-loved governor of Michigan and the father of 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be so “Great for ‘68” for George Romney, but maybe 2012 is the year for his son. This poster is in near excellent condition--no bends, no foxing, it is new/old stock and was never hung or framed, so there are no thumbtack holes or anything; a little bit of dirt on the edge where it was exposed over time--not major. Looks as if it were printed today, but it wasn't. Has the union bug in the corner from Local 591 of Sign and Pictorial Printers in Detroit. It measures about 22 inches across by 16.5 inches top to bottom. It would look fabulous framed and hanging in your U.S. political collectibles headquarters. It will be shipped in a mailing tube to protect it. Shipping weight is 1 lb.
