Up for Auction is ONE complete set of fully assembled and tested official Apple 1 NTI version re-plica ("Newton NTI"). The re-plica is officially authorized by the owner who won the original Apple 1 set (labelled #82) auctioned by Christie's London in 2010; that #82 original Apple 1 set is the model of this re-plica. The copyright of documentation, the box label and even the way the box is sealed is properly addressed in form of a "Memorandum of Understanding", which is signed by the owner and states the official authorization; it can be shown on request to the bid winner.

The auction includes the following: 

1) Assembled and tested Apple 1 Re-plica (with original Texas Instruments IC sockets)

2) Assembled and tested Apple 1 cassette interface

3) Copy of Apple 1 Operation Manual

4) Copy of Apple 1 Cassette Interface Manual

5) Copy of Apple 1 Basic Manual

6) 4 pin / 6 pin connector housing and pins for power supply and video output

7) Cassette tape containing "Basic" and "Startrek"

8) One 3 poles cable with which you can connect the ACI to your media devices 

9) Certificate showing its re-plica status, serial number and date of assembly and testing

Please note monitor and keyboard are not included.

Unlike previous attempts to replicate Apple 1, effort is made to process the boards according to obsolete processing technology and a photo of one of the original NTI Apple 1 is attached for comparison purpose (4th photo). But still a "Newton NTI" marking is added at the back to distinguish it from the original.

The price of original Apple 1(s) becomes so high (the last one with just the mainboard was auctioned in Germany at US$671K!) and so rare that only enthusiasts with deep pocket can have the chance to own one but most of the time such museum grade items may not work or you would choose not to power it up even it can. Now, you can have the chance to own a fully functional and complete "Apple 1" with most of the identical items at just less 0.5% of the one sold in Germany. NEW in the box! Every set is identified using unique serial number. This is a must have for Apple fans, vintage PC hobbyists, schools and personal museums!
