are bidding on a Moller Stool 80A (Oak/Black Woven Cord). It is in great condition with slight signs of handling.
In 1944, Niels Otto Møller founded J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, a company that has received many awards, including the Danish Furniture Prize in 1974 and 1981. "My father never compromised on anything," says Jørgen Henrik Møller. "When he designed a chair, he would find the materials and then design the furniture. Each design took him five years to complete." Even today the company continues to use old craft traditions like handwoven seats, which, on the Model 80A Stool (1963), are made from one continuous 498-foot-long piece of cord. To make their furniture frames, Møller hand-selects raw wood from environmentally friendly sources and never uses machines for the final polish, as these devices treat all wood the same and can't replicate the finish that comes from polishing by hand. In 1974, Niels Otto Møller began exporting to Japan, which remains one of the biggest markets for his chairs due to their simplicity and craftsmanship. Møllers is still a small family-owned business and is now managed by Jørgen Henrik Møller. This Stool is an authentic, fully licensed product of J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik. Made in Denmark.

Smaller parcels ship via FedEx Monday-Friday within 2-5 business days after payment clears. Parcels with a total combined selling price over $500 require a direct signature from the buyer. Tracking number's will be provided via e-mail.
Large items ship via AGS Freight or Ukay Delivery. Both delivery services provide curbside delivery only. Please note the delivery company is not responsible for lifting or carrying the products into the house or business location. If you require inside delivery, un-boxing/crating, assembly, etc... contact us for rates. The buyer will be contacted directly by the shipping company to schedule delivery. Please inspect packages & products and make note of any damages on the delivery receipt prior to signing for delivery. Neither Design Within Reach Outlet nor the trucking company is liable for any damages unless damage was noted on the delivery receipt. If there is a problem with your order contact us within three (3) days of receipt and we will work with you to make things right.
International shipping: At this time, we can only ship internationally to Canada. Canadian customers are responsible for duties, taxes and service fees that may occur in their country. Please just message us with the items you are interested in and your postal code for a quote.
FREE Local pick-up: We offer FREE local pickup at our DWR Outlet location located in Secaucus, New Jersey. Secaucus is conveniently located near New York City and Jersey City. Please make arrangements to pick up your items within 3 days of auction end.
