Purple and amber - what a beautiful combination these two colors make! Perfect for this time of year, too. The purple is pretty darned purple, and I love it. I say that because purple glass can be hard to get "just right". It often comes out more on the reddish-amethyst side or even greyish, but I've played around with diferent colors and layered them until I think I've got a really nice purple! Combined with the light, medium and dark ambers - the colors are stunning! This set contains 16 handmade lampwork beads (four small lentil-shaped, twelve round-shaped) in a variety of designs that include cased stringer, a petal bead, poked eyes, a floral - each bead made carefully with layering details. These beads average approximately 12 x 12mm and the holes are 1/16" (just right for sterling wire, soft flex wire, thin leather cord, etc.). Also, be sure to check out my other auctions as I also have a large focal heart that matches this set perfectly! Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions. Thanks a bunch and take care, Amy Trescott - Forever Grateful Beads
