This auction is for a beautiful original watercolor painting by the early 20th century artist Henrietta Dunn (Mears).  There s more information about Henrietta Dunn (Mears) online.  She was born in the midwest in 1877, and died in 1970. She studied at the Arts Students League in New York with Charles Hawethorne and Eric Pape. And she lived and worked in Provincetown, among other places.

This charming original painting (not including the frame) measures about 8-1/2 inches by 6-1/2 inches.

The frame needs replacing as the gilding was broken in several places and glued awkwardly back on with gaps.  So the frame adds no value.
