Plasticare Trim Dye - GREY

Faded bumpers and other trim?

It’s amazing how much difference badly faded plastics can make to the appearance of your car.  Plasticare Trim Dye is a restorative product that permanently re-colours your trim using the same polymers the manufacturers use.  Unlike plastic spray paint products it won’t crack and flake off, or rub off after a couple of weeks like silicone dressing products.

  • Easy to apply - simply clean trim with water and detergents and apply dye
  • Dry in 5-15 minutes
  • Colour doesn’t transfer when dry
  • Waterproof and fade-proof
  • Suitable for most plastic, rubber and vinyl trim
  • Enhance the look of your car for yourself - or if you are trying to sell

So if your car has faded trim then this is the product to get it looking good again!

FAQs

How much do I need?  - A bottle contains 4fl. Oz.  ~120ml of dye.  This is typically enough to do badly faded exterior trim on the ‘average’ car.  (The exterior plastics on the 205 in this listing were done with approx ⅔ of a bottle).  Cars or vans with very big plastics may need a second bottle.

Does the product leave a shine?  The product leaves a matt finish – trim dressing products can be used afterwards to achieve a shine

How do I apply it?  The product can be applied by most usual means, but the best method is to use a foam brush or a section of sponge for the most even finish

Can I use your product to change the colour of my trim? The product is intended as a restorative treatment and it is not advised to change the base colour of your trim

What shade is the grey?  The grey is a mid grey or a 40-50% grey.  Customers wanting a darker shade can buy a bottle of black and mix it with the grey to achieve the desired shade.
