1995 Audi A4 TDI in red. Has approximately 160k miles on the clock (still in daily use) and is in average condition cosmetically for its age. The bodywork has quite a few minor dings and scrapes as you'd expect after 19 years, but no serious damage, study the photos. The engine runs well with no turbo smoke, no knocks or bangs from the suspension, gearbox is still good and Germanic and the brakes are very strong. The interior is starting to get a bit tatty, the drivers seat being the obvious part.

I bought the car in December 2013 as a temporary car after my Punto got written off. I gave it a full service that month, and have covered 8000 miles since without so much as a hint of trouble, they just don't build cars like this anymore sadly. It could do with a service again now really, the alternator/drive belt has started to squeal in the last couple of weeks too, automatic tensioner on these so it may be that sticking? The drivers window doesn't work, it has power to it and the button activates the mechanism, but someone has fixed it shut I think, I never investigated further. The door trim from the drivers door is also missing. I fitted a Sony CD player which is included. The car has a folder of old receipts with it, a lot of them Audi main dealer, and a pretty comprehensive service history.

Summed up, it's a solid, slightly war torn old German car that if looked after will easily see 250k and regularly a lot more. I'm an Alfa Romeo man (and racer), it pains me to admit that as much as I love them, they'll never build something this robust and well thought out, only the Germans build cars this solid. You're welcome to come and view and test drive it, I'm open to sensible offers. If you're a dodgy trader hoping to half the price and cash in on it, keep looking as I'm not your man.
