Late 1990s Marin Attack Trail aluminium frame and forks, plus seat post, stem, handlebars and brand new bottom bracket

I think it’s a medium – I’m 5’9” tall with an inside leg of 32” and it’s the right size for me, but the dimensions are:

Centre bottom bracket to top seat tube = 19”

Centre top seat tube to centre head tube = 22½”

Great but used condition as shown in the photos, with the usual marks for a mountain bike. I bought it last autumn from a friend who’d had it stored away for years and took it out a few times over winter, where it performed fine on short rides around the local trails.

The only points of note are:

1. On the swing arm, the chain has rubbed the paint off because it had the incorrect bottom bracket – a brand new, correct size BB was fitted in December.

2. One half of a lower cable mount / guide bracket is snapped on the tube with the 'Attack Trail' decal.

3. Rear shock – the first time out it seized up, but was fine on all subsequent rides.

4. I would recommend you check the suspension, bearings etc – there are no issues I'm aware of, but it is an old mountain bike after all!

It made me realise full suspension was the way to go, so I bought a new bike in February and now need more garage space, hence the reason I’m selling…

Any questions or requests for more photos etc, please ask.

No reserve auction, UK bidders only, highest bidder wins, cash only, collection from Bristol.

Update: I've just come across the rear brake mounts, which I've now screwed in to the swing arm – see last photo.

I've been asked a few questions about postage - I won't arrange this, but I'm happy for eBayers with 10 or more positive feedback to arrange collection by a courier. Payment must be by bank transfer and only once funds have cleared in my account will I let someone take it away. If you have less than 10 feedback and win the auction you must pay cash and collect in person - apologies to genuine new eBayers, but I'm sure you understand.
