This is a very good EARLY 18thc. Point de Angleterre  Lace Lappets .  Possible as early as c.1720 -40 .  Note the square ends that are typical of the early part
of the century.  A sophisticated and attractive design .... measures 21.5" long each piece .  3 3/4" at the top and 3" at the bottom.  In firm condition and
as found , there are some very small holes and oxidation areas .Look carefully at photos , all service areas covered.  These lappets are fresh to the market ,
hailing from a remarkable lifetime collection of early laces recently found.
