POIGNANT POST MORTEM FATHER IN ROCKING CHAIR HOLDING DEAD DAUGHTER FRAMED

Description

Heartbreaking postmortem photo showing a father seated in a rocking chair clutching his deceased little girl.  She wears a white dress with white stockings and a white ribbon in her hair.  There is something between her arms, possibly a little doll?  The man has a pipe in his mouth and the chair sits on the dirt ground with a blanket used as a backdrop.  Housed in an oval metal frame with convex glass and hanger on top.  Measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" overall.  The photo is card mounted and was trimmed to fit frame.  Exactly as I found it many many years ago.
