The ACE Neo is available in 3 colors (navy, blue and beige) and stands for the modern, the new, for speed and reliability. The device is designed for users who want to get quick and accurate results on their ability to drive.

With a size of 100 x 44 x 15mm (L x W x H), the ACE Neo is the smallest in its class but still able to deliver high-precision results. The weight is only 66 grams (with the 2 batteries already included). The ACE Neo is perfect for carrying in a bag.

The ACE Neo is equipped with an improved electrochemical sensor. The long-term stability has again been greatly improved compared to the predecessor models, and the warm-up time and the recovery time have been considerably shortened. The measurement accuracy of the ACE Neo corresponds to a tolerance of only ± 0.05‰ (per mill = g/L which is the standard setting for the EU, in UK it is ± 0.025 g/L and in the USA it is ± 0.005% BAC). Of course, as in the predecessor models, a flow sensor was integrated to determine the respiratory volume.

 

For hygienic reasons and to avoid the falsification of a measurement results, a new mouthpiece should always be used per breath test. The ACE mouthpieces are equipped with a non-return valve, which prevents a backflow of saliva to the device.

In addition to the breathalyzer, in the scope of delivery you will find a bag that makes taking your ACE Neo with you easier, the device is also delivered with 2 matching batteries, a quick start guide and an extensively manual.

 

Please note that the replaceable mouthpieces should not be used several times - not even by the same person. If you use a mouthpiece more than one time it might happen that there is residual alcohol inside this mouthpiece which might indluence a further test result. We are not liable for damages that may result from the repeated use of a mouthpiece.

 

Within this study, 5 measurement reference points (0.00, 0.10, 0.25, 0.40 and 0.60 per mill) were tested in the laboratory with 5 identical measuring devices of the ACE Neo model and 10 repetitions each (excluding the manufacturer). Overall, the device type ACE Neo was thus tested 250x in the laboratory of the Institute of Analytical Chemistry of the Vienna University of Technology, under the direction of Univ.
