("Burberry": The world-famous brand, currently a "must-have" fashion accessory, and beloved of many famous people all over the world)
General Description
Beautifully designed, with single-breasted styling, extra length for a slimming effect, and an extra long, swagger-style rear vent.
As will be apparent from the photos, ( featuring my lovely UK size 10 mannequin, Kate, who is 5ft 10in or 177cm in height, wearing high heels or standing on tip-toe), this interesting and unusual Burberry trench coat has single-breasted, placket fronted (i.e. concealing the front buttons when the coat is done up) styling, with many of the classic trench design features, such as easy shoulder line, raglan sleeves, long, pleated rear vent, large, internal poacher's pockets accessed through side pockets, cuff adjuster straps, horn buttons and leather-covered buckles. This coat is very, very comfortable.
It is fully lined with Burberrys' famous, trademark NOVA check interior, with high quality, gold-coloured, satiny lining to the sleeves.
The size label indicates it is '12 LONG', and the fit is quite loose (as you will see from the pictures), so there is considerable flexibility and a size bigger than the label size should be fine.
Condition
The lovely coat has spent its life in storage since it was purchased from a Burberry store, and it is therefore presented in perfect, as new condition, with no defects whasoever.
This gorgeous coat represents a genuine bargain, when compared with the normal retail price of similar trench coats - currently £1,550, according to www.burberry.com

As previously stated, the label states '12 LONG', but size is not critical and it should fit a size up - depending on what kind of fit you prefer. As mentioned above, Kate is a UK size 10 and 5ft 10in (177cm) in height, and the coat was a comfortable, very loose fit on her.
The coat measures: (house code 1089)
- 21in/53.5cm across from underarm to underarm (chest circumference 42in/107cm)
- 45in/114cm long from rear collar (excluding width of collar) to bottom hem
- Because of the style of the coat, shoulder measurements are not required
- Underarm to cuff 19in/48cm (this is a deep-set raglan sleeve and does not really correspond to your arm measurement)
Remember me, I only pick out the best ones for my collection!

Just a few words about Burberrys' (or Burberry as they are now known):
Founded in the mid-19th century by Thomas Burberry, an English draper, the company has become world-renowned for the quality of its clothing. It invented gabardine, kitted out polar explorers Amundsen and Shackleton, supplied clothing to the British army in the Boer War and World War I, invented the trench coat, and, if that is not enough to make you want one, has been awarded two Royal warrants by HRH Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Prince of Wales.
