1992 Canada Proof Double Dollar Set Contains Both the 1992 Commemorative Silver Dollar and the Aureate Dollar The commemorative silver dollar celebrates the beginning of the stagecoach service between Kingston and York in 1817. The reverse depicts the work of Vancouver artist Karsten Smith who so wonderfully portayed the adventure of the stagecoach by demonstrating the working reationship between the coachmen and his powerful horses as they travel through the snow. The proof version of the aureate circulation dollar coin bears the design of the common loon.
The coins in this lot are in the original leather case including a certificate from the Royal Canadian Mint. The external plastic box is not included. |
